Megan Byers – Owner

Hello everyone! My name is Megan and I operate Sitters on Park. I grew up babysitting and pet sitting for all the local families in my neighborhood.  I quickly realized I had a passion in caring for others. The medical field spiked my interest which led to working in healthcare. I take pride in caring for others as if they are family. As the owner of Sitters on Park, we strive to provide the best sitters in the Winter Park area. I believe there should be no worry when children (including furry) are being cared for. Jewel Mihigan – Manager

My name is Jewel Mihigan. I am a wife and mom of a five-year-old boy, Charlie and two-year-old girl, Piper. I was born and raised in Winter Park, which I absolutely love and hope to never leave. I love family time, checking out local Farmer’s Markets, and spending time at the beach.

Kelly Morgenthaler

Meet Kelly! Kelly moved to Orlando from Miami just over 3 years ago, where she worked as a nanny for the previous years. Since living in Orlando, she has taken care of one baby from 4 months to almost 2 years old. She currently works at Universal Sunday-Tuesdays and is available for nanny jobs other days throughout the week. She has years of professional experience as a nanny/child-care provider, as well as with large groups of children at a gym’s Kids’ Club. Kelly has also  volunteered at several day cares, preschools and summer camps throughout her life. She has traveled to California and Panama with different families for nanny positions as well. She loves engaging children in artistic, and creative play, and doing outdoor activities with them. She has seen how important music, art, nature, language, and hands on activities are to the development of young children and always make sure safety comes first!

Hannah Sabus

Meet Hannah! Hannah is 21 years and the oldest cousin of eight. She has always loved taking care of the little ones. Hannah has 5 years of experience ranging from newborns to 12 years old. Hannah loves to become involved with any activities children love to do. Some of her favorite activities while babysitting are reading, drawing/coloring, playing with toys, and going outside. Hannah is available to help out around the house, meal prep, homework help, and pick them up from school if needed. Hannah is CPR certified so you can feel safe while she’s there. Hannah would love to become part of your family and help out with any childcare needs!

Ashley Winch

Meet Ashely! She is currently a Graduate Student.  Ashley is training to be a child psychologist. She absolutely loves children and has worked with all ages from 6-weeks to teenagers. She loves to play and would much rather make up games or bake than put the children in front of the television. She has degrees in both psychology and chemistry and can help with most homework. Meal prep is also not a problem for her. Ashley looks forward to hearing about your children!

Katherine Matthews

Meet Kat! She is a senior at Rollins College majoring in Anthropology and Classical Studies and minoring in Archaeology and Middle Eastern & North African Studies. She spends her summers excavating in a dig site near Siena, Italy and wants to get her PhD in Near Eastern Archaeology. Kat has experience babysitting children of all ages from 10 month old infants to 14 year old teenagers and also has experience caring for both cats and dogs. She can bake, do crafts, and help with homework.

Yarah Lugo

Meet Yarah! She is a 23 year old graduate student pursuing a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  She has 6 years experience working at a gym day care, where she cared for children from 6 weeks of age up to middle school. Along with her child care experience at the gym, Yarah has been babysitting and developing close bonds with the families she cared for.  She has always been passionate about taking care of others which is what lead her to child care and later on to pursue a degree in the medical field.  She is CPR certified and fluent in Spanish, and is comfortable with pets!

Sarah Hardy

Meet Sarah! She has been babysitting and pet sitting for 7 years. She is currently studying Biology at the University of Central Florida. She is a junior and plans to go on to veterinarian school after she finishes her bachelors degree. Sarah loves to create a bond and spend time with children and not just watch them. She loves participating in crafts and has experience in tutoring like her mom who is a teacher. Pet sitting for Sarah is a pleasure rather than a job because of her passion for animals. Her experience in babysitting includes infants to 14 year olds. She can administer medicine to dogs as well.

Christanna Blommel

Meet Christanna Blommel! (Miss Christie).  She has lived in College Park Orlando for about 3 years.  Christie grew up in Alexandria, Minnesota and lived in Duluth for 10 years before moving south.

Christie has a undergraduate degree in psychology and art. She is very excited to have just graduated from occupational therapy assisting (OTA) school! She is hoping to travel within the next few years getting as much experience as she can. Christie is  very qualified, caring, responsible and reliable. She is currently COTA certified, CPR/BLS and First Aid Certified. She has  her own reliable car and a clear level 2 background check.  She works for AMP Therapy which is pediatric home health and really enjoys it. The flexibility allows her to continue her passion for working with children of all abilities!

Caring for kids has always been a lot of fun for Christie. She loves to be outside but is also a book worm. She enjoys cooking, swimming, biking, hiking, sew and playing board games. Ever since middle school, she has been blessed to work with children of all ages and abilities. After high school and college graduation, she enjoyed volunteering for two years serving the nation in the state of Minnesota as an AmeriCorps Member. Christie earned two educational awards throughout her years of service in an elementary school. Her experience included tutoring reading and math, coordinating volunteers, after school programs, summer school programs and service learning projects. Throughout that time and on to today, she has worked as a: professional babysitter, nanny, live-in nanny, personal care attendant (PCA) respite caregiver, private preschool teacher’s aide and occupational therapy assistant. These have been/are great roles for her since she  thrives off of structured routine and open collaboration with others. In the future, her career goals include working at the Occupational Therapist level in a school setting! Therefore, her master’s degree is her next step.

Desiree Kitsmiller

Meet Desiree! Desiree is a 23-year-old graduate from the University of Central Florida majoring in Health Sciences. She is currently in the beginning stages of applying for Physician Assistant school with an end goal of specializing in pediatrics. She grew up in Orlando and has been babysitting, pet sitting, and house sitting for nine years now in and around the Winter Park community. Desiree absolutely loves caring for others, especially children. She has cared for all ages from newborns all the way up to mentoring for local middle schoolers and high schoolers. Desiree is also comfortable with all pets.

Raven McGlory

Meet Raven! She is currently a 29 year old 2nd grade teacher with a BA in Child Psychology and a Masters in Educational Leadership. She has been a babysitter/nanny for over 10 years now and it is one of my favorite pastimes. She has worked with newborns up to 12 year olds. Raven is CPR/First Aid certified as well. Throughout her undergrad career she was a nanny and worked at the YMCA as a summer camp counselor. Her favorite things to do with children are to read and play games/activities!

Victoria Ellis

Meet Victoria! Victoria currently attends the University of Central Florida. She absolutely loves taking care of kids, and seeing the world from their eyes. She has been babysitting for about 8 years now. Victoria has experience from newborns to 16 years of age. She enjoys teaching children – and has taught ballet, tap, and jazz from ages 3 to 12 years old. She has experience with sensory impaired and special needs as well. Victoria is a Certified Nursing Assistant and CPR certified. Victoria’s most recent job was after school care 3 days a week for a 9 year old girl. Her job included picking up from school, making dinner, completing homework, and incorporating a bedtime routine. Victoria would like to be a Physician’s Assistant one day and work in heart surgery. She enjoys participating in mission trips, volunteering, and going to the beach. She loves traveling new places, and seeing the world. Victoria is a cat person but loves all animals! Victoria is very outgoing and a social butterfly. Her goal in life is to live without any regrets!

Delani Delgado

Meet Delani! She  is 21 years old and a recent graduate of the University of South Florida. She plans to continue her higher education by attending the University of Central Florida and attaining a Master’s of Non-Profit Management as well as a Master’s of Public Administration. Her interest in the non-profit sector stems from her passion for the field of youth development. Delani has experience caring for children aged 8-17 from her years working as a camp counselor at a residential summer camp. However, she is not afraid to work with younger ages if requested. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the movies, and eating shrimp tempura at her favorite Japanese restaurant. She is comfortable with meal prep, homework help, and sitting for both cats and dogs. She is CPR and First aid certified for infants/children and adults.

Brianna Demik

Meet Brianna! She is currently a sophomore at the University of Central Florida studying Hospitality. She has 5 years experience in being a babysitter and worked at a after school childcare program for 2 years. She is comfortable working with all ages and all animals excluding cats due to an allergy. Some of her hobbies include soccer, volleyball, and crafts. Brianna is also CPR and first aid certificated.

Rachelle Magdaong

Meet Rachelle!  Rachelle is a 19 year old college student currently majoring in Nursing hoping to become a Flight Nurse. She was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to the US in 2014  to a small town in the Florida Keys. Rachelle has experience babysitting children ages 5-10 years old and has also cared for both cats and dogs. A fun fact about Rachelle is that she used to have a Maine Coon cat. Rachelle’s hobbies include – playing guitar, painting/drawing, and paddle boarding. She  loves arts and crafts, and can help with homework. Rachelle loves to hike and going to adventure parks as well.

Julia Mueller

Meet Julia! She is currently a first year student at UCF as an engineer major. Julia used to work at an after school program where she encountered many different situations and has provided solutions. In addition to this experience, she can help kids with their homework and plan fun activities for them. It is so important to her to provide a safe and caring environment for your children.

Aubrey Port

Meet Aubrey! She is currently a Sophomore at Rollins College. She has been working as a camp counselor for over five years. Aubrey has been babysitting for over six years, and has experience babysitting children of all ages. She also has experience with pet sitting. She is first aid, CPR certified, as well as CDC certified.

Jessica Kavalec-Miller

Meet Jess! She is a twenty-five-year-old with nine years of experience in childcare and has cared for all ages from 8-weeks old infants to thirteen-year olds. She has also had six years of experience in pet and house sitting and is comfortable caring for both cats and dogs. Jessica currently a junior attending Rollins College and is majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sexuality, Women, and Gender Studies, or as Rollins refers to it, the SWAG program. She has an interest in child development and aims to integrate her knowledge in this area when she cares for children as well as acknowledging the parenting styles that are specific to each family.  She has cared for some children for many years and considers these children to be like family. Jessica enjoys reading, writing, making and learning about art, cooking, and learning about different cultures. She is very studious and is pursuing her PhD to become a university professor.

Alexa Armour

Alexa is currently a 23 year old MBA candidate at Rollins College Crummer Graduate school of business. She has spent a great amount of her free time the last 5 years during undergrad and post-grad helping out families in the Winter Park area with babysitting, petsitting, and house sitting. Alexa has experience with kids of all ages from infants to 16+ years old, from families with twins to families with 5 kids aged from infants to 13yrs. She comfortable with driving, meal prep, and homework help. She also has a dog of her own so she understands the importance of keeping our furry friends happy!

Sofie Gilbert

Sofie is currently a junior at Rollins College, majoring in environmental studies and minoring in business management. She has much experience working with children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. She has worked with 4 and 5 year olds at a nature/farm camp as a teacher naturalist and has also completed an internship at their preschool. She is first aid and CPR/AED certified. She also has much experience taking care of pets, most especially dogs and cats.

Lina Martinez

Hi there! Since I was little I can remember caring for my younger cousins, then in middle school I had my first sitting job I would walk a little girl to the bus in the mornings. I realized then I really enjoy caring for kids. I am currently studying Child Psychology and have 5+ years of experience in working as a care giver. I have work with all ages( Newborns through Teens) I enjoy my job very much every kid is full of adventure and imagination. I also believe I am passionate and will create a welcoming relationship with your young child. I know is important to have a set of skills to care for kids such as understanding their emotions, have good communication skills, and be patience with the little humans.

Tracy Turner

Meet Tracy! She absolutely loves kids! Tracy enjoys getting to know children by learning who they are while putting  a smile on their face. She has about 8 years experience in caring for children, from newborn to 13 years of age. Tracy can provide meal preparation, transportation (school/events) bathing/grooming, light housekeeping duties, homework help, and school projects as needed. She enjoys having fun with children such as games, sports, walks, going to parks, crafts, drawing/coloring, or even anything they enjoy and maybe something new to them! Tracy has also worked with special needs and has cared for the disabled. She would love an opportunity to see if she is a good fit for what your family needs. Tayler Mitchell

Tayler is a current student and peer mentor at Rollins College where she studies Communications. She has several years of child care experience including working as a mother’s helper and has cared for newborns all the way to about 10 years of age. She is comfortable working with various age groups. Tayler has is comfortable with aiding children with their homework particularly in the areas of reading, writing, and math. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, planning kid friendly meals, and engaging in creative activities. She is certified in CPR and First Aid.

Christina Carroll

Christina has been caring for children and animals for most of her life. She has 5 years of experience as an intructor in childcare and has worked as a live in nanny for several families over the course of 3 years. Christina is CPR and First Aid certified and is comfortable caring for children of all ages.

Christina has a strong background in working with animals as a child raised in a family who owned and operated a pet care and grooming company in Florida. Although she is very comfortable with dogs and horses, she is allergic to cats. Aside from child and pet care, she also has experience as a housekeeper and likes to clean and organize. Christina also enjoys arts and crafts, mentoring, and playing sports such as soccer, basketball, and tennis.

Diana Nay

Diana Nay is currently a student at Rollins College where she studies Psychology and Spanish. Diana is interested in providing services as a child, pet, and house sitter. From 2008-2009 she worked as a Jeune fille Au pair for a young girl and provided general tutoring services. She is currently a babysitter for a 7 month old boy and his six year old twin brothers. She also tutors in french. Diana is comfortable with tutoring children in the studies of Math, English, and French and has several years experience doing so.

In her spare time she enjoys cooking, playing sports, and the piano.

Aside from caring for children, Diana loves pets and is comfortable caring for any kind of animal.

Katie Boone

Katie is a current student of Rollins College where she studies education and teaching. In the spring of 2011 she was an assistant teacher at Fern Creek Elementary and specialized in working with children with special needs in the classroom. She is very comfortable with tutoring in various subjects and helping with homework. Aside from her passion to teach, Katie enjoys cooking, playing tennis, arts and crafts, and playing games. She was also an acting coach for a few years and enjoys inventing creative kid friendly games. She has encountered children of all ages and is comfortable caring for any age group. Aside from child care, she also has experience pet sitting.
