Babysitting
We make it our priority to match each family with the perfect sitter. Before bringing a sitter onto our team, we make sure that person has enthusiasm, positive energy, and will care for your children in the best way possible. We offer workshops throughout each month that educate sitters on activities they can perform with the children they sit for. These workshops include ideas in arts and craft, cooking classes, educational games and tutoring, as well as emergency response training. It is just as important to us as it is to you that children are not placed in front of a television, but are stimulated to learn and play on a daily basis. All of our babysitters have created a profile providing additional information to the family. These profiles will also include any certifications the sitter has, which subjects they are qualified to tutor, and any other skills they have.
We understand that security is extremely important when it comes to the caring of your kids. This is why each sitter has gone through extensive background and criminal history checks. Many of our sitters are CPR/AED/First Aid certified to handle emergency situations that may arise.
Our babysitting rates are offered at a flat rate depending on the number of children you have. Our holiday rates increase by $5 per hour (New Years Eve, New Years Day, Martin Luther King Jr Birthday, Washington’s Birthday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day) (Clients will be notified of this rate change if they request a sitter on a holiday). If for any reason a client cancels an appointment they must do so 24 hours in advance so our team is able to give the sitter appropriate notice.
